Ryo, Brewer Street (Japanese Restaurant) 10.03.08

A survey in Japan from Goo Ranking asked men and women what things they would be most prepared to stand in a lengthly queue for. Top of the list for the chaps and second for the ladies (just behind a theme park attraction) was a ramen shop.

I’m not such a huge fan of ramen as the Japanese appear to be, so a long queue would have certainly put me off, but on Saturday I was in Soho with a hankering for ramen so went to the queue-less Japanese noodle and sushi bar, Ryo on Brewer Street.

The lack of queue and speedy service meant I was soon tucking into the Shoyu ramen set which came with fried rice. It cost £7.50 and was nothing to write home about so any of my writings will stay restricted to this blog. On the upside no tipping is required (or at least I’m pretty sure that’s the case) so all in all it was reasonable value for money compared to other eateries in the area.
